In May, the Russian Center came alive with the sounds and excitement of the 2025 Slavic Festival. We welcomed our Balkan, Bulgarian, Czech, Polish, Serbian and other Slavic friends to join in our celebration of shared culture and heritage. With nearly 1,700 attendees, our guests soaked up the lively atmosphere as they enjoyed our line-up of performances, traditional food and drink, unique artisans and vendors, and fun kids' activities.

The two-day schedule of performances showcased a diversity of talents. From Polish dancers to Russian vocalists to Balkan choral ensembles, our attendees got a well-rounded display of Slavic performing arts and music. Live Performances

The Russian Center was pleased to host Mayor Daniel Lurie and Supervisor Stephen Sherrill at the Festival. Festival Board members were presented with a Certificate of Excellence from the City of San Francisco, and both the Mayor and Supervisor mixed with the crowd, took photos with volunteers and sampled a few delicious desserts.

Honorary Slavic Festival Guests

Guests indulged in Russian, Czech, and Tartar food, snacked on delicious Slavic appetizers, sampled flavored vodkas and cold Slavic beers and indulged in traditional desserts. Relive the festival atmosphere with photos of our food booths, crafts vendors, dessert area, bar, kids' area and guests.
