We offer a variety of programs where adults and children alike can learn to appreciate and enjoy Russian and Slavic heritage, history, language, and traditions in San Francisco.
Teremok Russian Preschool
Teremok is a State-certified, Russian-English bilingual immersion preschool in San Francisco.

Classes include reading and writing in English and Russian, mathematics, science, music, art and gymnastics. Fluent Russian-speaking teachers closely follow a creative and exciting curriculum plan geared toward each child’s individual developmental readiness.

Children learn the foundations of developmental, academic, and artistic skills to prepare them for a productive transition to future educational success. Additionally, by immersing children in a Russian bilingual and bi-cultural environment, they learn the foundations of bilingual literacy and awareness of the global diversity in traditions and customs.​
Russian Center Dancers
Our Character Dance Classes for Beginners offer an introduction to dance for children ages 6-14. Dancers learn body placement, intricate rhythms and folk dance steps. At the end of 10 weeks, children have the opportunity to showcase a choreographed dance on stage.

Our experienced and professional instructor, Olga Prokoshina, hails from the Ballet Academy of Belorussian. She has taught and choreographed dancers for 15 years at the Russian Center.
Class Schedule: Tuesday evenings and Wednesday/Saturday afternoons.
