The Russian Center of San Francisco was founded in 1939 by Russian immigrants to preserve, celebrate, and exhibit the rich cultural heritage of the Russian and Slavic diaspora through community programs and events.  Our mission of preserving Russian-American and Slavic heritage and culture continues to this day.
