San Francisco Russian Diaspora: Stories from the Roaring Twenties

On October 11th, Dr. Nina Bogdan gave a fascinating lecture about Russian immigrant life in the 1920's to a full room of museum friends and visitors. She revealed many "behind the scenes stories" of Russian immigrant family life, clubs and restaurants, Hollywood connections and performance art, sports, important families, and even crime.

If you missed it, watch the entire presentation on demand here or on the museum's YouTube channel. You may also download and view Dr. Bogdan's presentation slides.
